The North Pole was missing its most famous resident this morning, as Kris Kringle himself made his regular fall visit to Dallas to help Neiman Marcus launch its 87th annual Christmas Book during a reception in the Design District. During the anticipated reveal of this year’s fantasy gifts — an array of over-the-top items and experiences that indulge art patrons, automobile lovers and architectural gurus alike — Neiman Marcus also made a charitable announcement. For each fantasy gift sold, a donation will be made to The Heart of Neiman Marcus Foundation, an organization that funds art experiences for children.
