New York Fashion Week: The top five looks you need for fall 2014

As Fashion Week in New York comes to a close, FD Luxe fashion editor Bradley Agather Means shares her five favorite runway moments:

1. Carolina Herrera
While I loved the show-stopping gowns that Herrera sent down the runway, it was this scarlet fur jacket that stopped me in my tracks.
2. Delpozo
A Technicolor knit cape? Yes, please.
3. Oscar de la Renta
Who can resist a little fringe? I’m not-so-secretly hoping that this elegant dress shows up on the red carpet come Oscars night on March 2.
4. Proenza Schouler
This look is what I refer to as classic, Proenza Schouler-cool: It has energy and makes a great graphic impact.
5. Wes Gordon
Pastels aren’t just for warm-weather months. This icy-blue duster coat is exactly what I want to be wearing come October.

  1. It’s usually in the 80s and 90s in October here in Dallas.  Hope you’ll be wearing your full-length coat somewhere up north.  And that’s a northern state, not north of LBJ!
